COVID-19 death toll reaches 100 in State-2
State-2 has recorded 100 COVID-19 deaths so far with the two fatalities updated in the last 24 hours.
The fatalities are from Parsa, 38; Bara, 15; Dhanusha, 12; Mahottari, 10; eight each in Saptari and Siraha, five in Rautahat, and an Indian national, according to the Ministry of Social Development.
Similarly, the latest update on the infection puts 33 cases in Saptari, 25 in Mahottari, 12 in Bara, six in Dhanusha and eight in Parsa. The total infection in the State has reached 11,061. Among them, 243 returned home after recovery on Saturday itself. With this, total number of infected ones recovering their normal health has reached 5,602 in the State.
Moreover, there are 566 persons staying in 177 quarantines across the State. As many as 1,718 infected ones are in home quarantines while 915 isolations and 4,444 in home isolations, according to the Ministry of Social Development.
